L’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli, una delle più antiche e prestigiose d’Italia, fondata da Carlo di Borbone nel 1752.

The Academy of Fine Arts in Naples is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Italy and it was founded by Charles of Bourbon in 1752.

“Geometrie ricamate” sono state presentate agli studenti di Storia della moda del corso di Fashion Design dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli, tenuto dalla prof. Rosella Gallo che dal 1989 è anche Presidente e Socio fondatore dell’Associazione culturale ‘Il sole al guinzaglio’ (www.ilsolealguinzaglio.it). Il sole al guinzaglio (Le soleil en laisse) è il titolo di una poesia del 1932 che André Breton ha dedicato a Picasso.

“Geometrie ricamate” were presented to the students of Fashion History, course of Fashion Design, of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, taught by prof Rosella Gallo who, from 1989, is also President and Founding Member of the Cultural Association ‘The sun on the leash’ (www.ilsolealguinzaglio.it). The sun on the leash (Le soleil en laisse) is the title of a poem that André Breton dedicated to Picasso in 1932.
